    Hi guys.

My acer 6920g restarts itself frequently after showing blue screen. The error in the blue screen is "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal" each time. I tried updating my driver to the new one but still the same problem. Help greatly needed. Thanks.

I tried both official and unofficial ones from laptopvideo2go.com. Anyway going to try again from the link you gave.

    There are two drivers..

    VGA_nVidia_8PGS_8ESE_v7.15.11.7451_Vistax32
    VGA_nVidia_9PGS_9PGE2_9EGE_v7.15.11.7561_Vistax32

Which one i must download and what does 8PGS n 9PGS stands for?

I was getting exactly the same problem with my 5920 (8600M GT) and I thought the problem was on nvidia drivers. But then I reinstalled vista without the Acer software or any other software that came with the laptop and since then I haven't seen any BSOD or any problem that can be related to Vista crashing. Additionally, my laptop is now much quicker, more responsive and much more stable. My total processes from all users are 39-45 depending how many programs I have opened. Finally, I have installed many drivers from laptopvideo2go without any problems. Currently, I have the nvidia drivers 181.20 with Dox mod.

It is because the default driver is 174.51 and the one you asked me to download is also 174.51. Anyway, i will give it a try though.

No. Acer didn't give me the vista dvd but kept it in a hidden partition inside the laptop itself.

What is the normal temp range for laptop gpu? Maybe the BSOD is caused by overheating?

I rolled back to the default driver and so far no BSOD. Hope it won't happen again. I thank everyone who helped me and appreciate your time and help. I'll post again if the BSOD happen again.
