All my games worked perfectly on vista32, but when i did an in-place upgrade to windows 7(32bit)they lagged so much they are unplayable. Reinstalling the games did not help at all. At first i had my 9500m GS overclocked(flashed) a little too high clock speeds(worked well on vista), so i lowered them but not helping(when i had 700mhz,460mhz,1350, the games lagged and after a few minutes of gaming, the screen got black and the driver crashed, now when i've lowered to 630,430,1250, this does not happen, but it still lags). My GPU does get about 10c degrees hotter on W7, though but i lowered the speeds significantly, so that shouldnt be the problem now(or is it still because it's overheating?). I'm running RMclock to undervolt & fix the CPU speed to always run at 2100mhz. I tried turning that off but no difference. I've tried a lot of nvidia drivers (dox too) but it's all the same:S. The weird thing is fraps show's the framerate is about 30-40 fps, but the game still lags(Can it have something to do with the HDD? i've noticed slower load times too)??
What can i do to fix it? Is it because of outdated drivers for all the other stuff??

What do you mean by lag in your games? Has your frame rate dropped, or are you unable to keep up with the action due to a slow Internet connection?
Run HWMonitor during your game sessions and see what every temperature is at.
If you can do a clean install, I'd say do it. Getting rid of all the Vista cruft is half of the benefits of a Win7 installation. -
What are you seeing as server ping times when this lagging occurs - should be the first thing to check long before you start overclocking (which will make very little difference to a server-lag problem.
I assume every other driver etc is up to date and nothing is re-installed that was flagged as a problem by the Windows 7 upgrade advisor
Lag problems on the latest games are almost always due to server problems from overload of gamers at eves/weekends. double check on an older game from another provider (e.g. if you are lagging in a steam game try an older non steam game.
If your Pings are ok a clean install may help -
No it's not online i'm talking about, its the game itself, like, it says 40 fps but still lags like hell (maybe because of outdated drivers for the HDD and all that since the windows 7 in place upgrade- i've tried lots of Nvidia drivers so it shouldn't be that). The temperature has gone up 10-15c degrees++, but i don't know, it didn't help downclocking the gpu... Anyone knows what might be the problem? Any other way to fix it besides doing a clean install (i'd hate to reinstall all my stuff it would take DAYS)?

Sound like OP/TS did a UPGRADE instead of a FRESH/CLEAN INSTALLATION for Windows 7 into his AS6920G. It seems the UPGRADE caused some problems though.
Try do a Clean/Fresh Installation of Windows 7.
Download and Install latest Graphic Card Driver from Official website after finish install the OS.
Also remember to download and install the latest DirectX too.
Else, you will get miserable FPS. LOL.
Acer 6920g in-place upgrade to Win 7= laggy/unplayable games??
