Hallo everybody i've got an issue with my laptop during games, after 10minutes playing, the core speed reduces at half with multipliers stucked at 5.0 with fsb 199.5 that gives me a crap 1100MHz laptop. Even using throttlestop with multiplier set to 13 and VID 1125, settings the power options of the cpu to 100% in both, control panel and acer power managment menu the result is the same after a while it cut the speed!
Temperatures are touching a max of 59°C for CPU and 65°C for GPU.
Anyone having the same issue?? Any Help will be really appreciated
    ..is so frustrating!

Have you tried setting Chipset Clock Mod to 100% in ThrottleStop yet? I think that's the problem with the Acer 6920g.

What CPU do you have? Can you post a picture of how you have ThrottleStop setup so someone might be able to help you?

How about posting a ThrottleStop log file while you are gaming so we can see what is triggering this throttling. You can copy and paste your data to http://www.pastebin.com and then post a link here.

Have you read any other threads about this issue yet? The problem you have discovered is nothing new to Acer laptops.
