    Sounds like GPU failure.

Looks like you have quite a few options for your new GPU.

The cheapest would be an Ati HD 3650. On eBay as they're going for $66 or approxiametly £45 at the moment.

The performance on the HD 3650 is slightly better than the Nvidia 8600GT which it replaced on my 9920G.

Is it GPU or BIOS? Look like BIOS to me.

What GPU chipset did you just buy and install? Have you checked that your BIOS can recognise the chipset? Is it MXM II?
