Hey guys,
Girlfriend and brother both have this macihne,
The drivers constantly crash. Any ideas? i loaded vista ultimate becuase i upgraded to 4gb ram on both.
Also gf, broke the dvd drive besel. any idea where to get a new one?

Are you sure it's the display drivers and not the RAM? If the RAM is bad, the BSOD will usually point at any sound and video drivers. Run memtest86+ on both computers to check and see if the RAM is bad. If you didn't update the drivers, I can't really see how that's the problem. As for the DVD drive, is it the DVD drive itself that's broken or the bezel next to it. The DVD drive itself is pretty cheap to buy of eBay.

What drivers are you using? The stock ones, from Acer? I suggest you update to the latest:

Yes, the ones from Acer. i had downloaded the drivers off Intel as well.
