Acer 6930G - Urgent Repairs

Hi all
Thanks for helping in advanced. I have an Acer Aspire 6930G already for 11 months my warrenty is almost finished and I have never had problems till now. My screen flickered purple and image was distorted at random this use to happen very often and lately (since last week it seems to have stopped :: Crosses fingers). I was very glad, however last week Saturday in the morning or round about that time my wireless connection was dropped it use to happen before, like every 3-4 hours. This Wi-Fi disconnection never happened during me working on the internet or playing games online. I thought that is the router having experience with our last ISP I thought its natrually their fault I'm beginning to think that I was very ignorant and should have thought more about what was happening. Anyway at the moment wireless does not work, when I diagnose the fault with windows it says switch on your wireless connection to fix problem...I press the button but the wireless light doesn't even come on...checked drivers all working properly, checked acer power manager everything is "meant" to be working...also the writting at the buttom of the screen which for example says Volume up/down or wireless enabled/disabled still works, displaying when my wireless is "MEANT" to be on and when it is off? Please any suggestions welcome
