    Hello everybody,

I have an Acer 6930G with Win 7 32bit. Since 2 days ago everything was working fine (except empowering technology) and now sound is only working on headphones..not from internal speakers. I tried to put back the system, uninstalled devices and reinstalled. Tried new,old drivers..nothing worked.
I have also tried ubuntu live and it's not working too..I think hardware broke.
    Do have any idea?
Where can I find tools or software for hardware testing?

    Thanks in advance

Finally solved!! I had to disassemble the whole laptop and unsolder audio plug. After opening it, I have discovered a little film of plug's lacquering that was shorting grounds contacts..

Advice: always buy good components! ALWAYS ;)
