    Hi,

I have Sony Hifi audio system model MHC RV60 ( can check manual here: http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4246313111.pdf and its been not in use since 4 to 5 yrs, as i was out off country for work.

now came back, so i tried to play some music on my system, but my CD rom is dead, its not ejecting and even CD player front panel buttons not working properly, doing random commands after pressing, but via remote commands are fine. so only Issue is cd rom kinda dead not responding anymore. so i decided to use hifi system as an amplifier connected to same speakers with alternative player device.

so is it possible to connect my lappy with system to play 4800watt bass out!!!!!

    Thanking you,

    Dalu

If you have proper line-outs, then yea, maybe.
