I received a refurbished 6930G-644G32Mn today, it is almost new, only few scratches around the screen that are barely visible but it hasnt been used more than a week imo.
First issue, there was an ATI 4650 instead of the advertised 9600GTbut the company told me that they could refund me 20euros for that so it doesnt bother me that much as i already paid it a good price.
The most problematic thing is that if i close the screen the computer shut down completely (every leds are off, definitely not hibernating) and i can only revive it by removing battery and adapter...
It does that even if i am in the bios so its not Windows related and i have the latest bios available![]()
If i open/close the screen when the computer is shut down it will work without any problem but as long as the computer is ON if i close the screen it crashes the laptop.
Do anyone have an idea of what it could come from? of what i could try?
I dont really want to have to use the Acer warranty, if i can avoid that it would be nice![]()
