When I got the laptop i played the demo blue ray disc and it work but have since upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and it now doesn't want to work?!
First windows kicks it into the basic colour mode and Acer Arcade Delux freezes and I get a black screen?
    What should I do??

What did the W7 upgrade advisor say about your version of the Blu ray player software ?

Acer Arcade Deluxe does force your system to go into Windows Basic mode so it can dedicate more video processing power to reading the Blu-ray disc; it's always done that.
Do you have WHQL-certified video drivers from Nvidia?
Are you using Realtek audio drivers from Acer?
