Hello There!
I want to buy that notebook but lastly something drained my attention to some issue I never before thought of.
So... few days ago my friend received from UE some kind of business laptop with integrated video card. It can play most of the newest gamest in very low details. But what worried me is the screen's refresh rate - always 60hz (there is posibility to change it to 59). I tried to change the resolution thinking new option of refreshment will occur but no effect. What's the reason of all this? The video card or maybe the drivers?
Do all laptops have 60hz? I'm a bit worried because it's painfull for my eyes and head ^^
So could someone tell me about the Acer's screen refreshment rate?

I'm sorry to say this mate, but it is the screen (I have the 6930). If you want a higher refresh rate, you have to connect an external screen.
But how can it be a pain? The eyes can't catch the refreshtimes anyway. 60 herz = 60 FPS. 60 FPS is very smooth. It's true it would reduce the flicker, but as I said, the eyes can't catch the flickering. It's too fast. -
Hi, LCD's don't do refresh they do response, see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refresh_rate
