My Acer 6935G's key "U" popped out, tried putting it back in but it doesn't work, something might be broken. So a friend brought super glue and we tried to glue it. It was okey first, but it got quite, loose, so we took it off and glued it back again, but this time it wasn't working well, you press it and nothing happens but in the laptop the U will be continuesly typed, like someone holding U.

So its not just the key that's broken, its the thing below it. Is it possible if I send it to a service shop to scrape it off and put on a new one? If so how much it will cost? BTW, its still under Warranty.

Cost ..... lets say about 20 - 30 Euro the part , and another 30 the installation.

Plus shipping , if the service shop , its not local.

Using some glue wasn't a good idea... using the warranty would have been a better option ;)
