Hey guys I was reading a thread on here about how the CPU downclocks when playing games. Im struggling to fix this issue and im not even sure if this happens due to heating
Here is what happened initially (first 5 minutes id say ..smooth gaming)

I tried the RMclock thing but it doesnt allow me to throttle *option is greyed out*
any help will be appreciated
cheers

Yep, that's a case of throttling alright. Go check out the Definitive Guide to Acer Throttling, download and run ThrottleStop, and your problem should go away. RMClock got displaced as the solution long ago.

Wow that worked like a charm no issues so far
thank you so so much
edit:
hey was wondering if you guys got rising temps from this
CPU goes to mid 60s and GPU goes to mid 90s
also did you guys ever get keyboard/mouse lag in source games such as tf2 and css
thanks -
Sorry Just had to bump
-
That's OK, hamzie.
I've never had keyboard/mouse lag in TF2, and your higher-than-mine temps might point to some actual thermal concerns.
CPU's fine, but GPU should optimally be around 85 at full bore.
When was the last time you opened your system up and cleaned out the fan and heatsink? -
Ive opened it before but i never really understood how to get to the heat sink
Last time it was done was last year and was done by ACER themselves -
If you Google around, you should be able to find a service manual for your 6935G - it will have the disassembly procedures you need.
If your 6935G is like my 6920G, it also has a mesh screen between the fan and its vents in the case - clean that out every now and again, because otherwise your fan will not be able to move enough air to cool your machine. -

6935G has every serious componant under the service hatch, easy as pie to get to.

alright guys ill have a look.
will ask you guys for help if i get stuck.
Thanks
