hey all you hardware gurus out there.... ive got a question (specifically relating to the Acer 6935g) as the title suggests... i would like to find out if anyone on this forum has had an successful Q9000, Q9100, Q9200 upgrade. My current CPU is the T6400, ive had no success with overclocking and i require a lot of performance from this machine. Now, i have many concerns about investing into 1 of these processors 1. BIOS support: i have (InsydeH2O) 2. Is the heatspreader LARGE enough for 2 dies ? and finally 3. Heat.
I know this is my first post hehe... but any help is appreciated :)

afaik the x9100 (45w) was the was the absolute-max the 6935g could go. i was previously using the t6400 and didnt want to take the chance with quad-core upgrade (lack of bios support) hence, i opted for the e8335 (35w)
