    Hello,

My Acer 7551G has not been receiving a charge. Or rather no power is received. I used to be able to jostle the power plug and receive a charge but now it seems that It doesn't seem to work at all. Anyone know what is causing this? and if so what can I do to fix it? I don't exactly have the money to buy components right now however.

If moving around the cable in its socket used to make it work again - that means the power socket is lose. It probably needs to be replaced. Good news is that it's a cheap component (few dollars) bad news is that it needs to be soldiered so unless you feel like doing it yourself and have the equipment, you may be forced to use a service center anyway.
