Ok so I just got my new laptop

    newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115487

and bought a few things when I got it First More Memory:

    newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145598

And then a New WiFi Card for the "N" Capability:

    google.com/products/catalog?q=Wireless+Mini-PCI+Card&btnG=Search+Products&hl=en&show=dd&cid=8092731164088150216&scoring=p&sa=N&start=25#ps-sellers

And a New Hard Drive for the Windows XP x64 Install

    newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136278

But my Real issue is the AHCI Drivers for XP x64. I am trying to slipstream the AHCI Drivers into my x64 disk using nLite and I amhaving a Hard time finding the Drivers.

    I found these:
    downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProductID=1809&DwnldID=14794&strOSs=109&OSFullName=Windows*%20XP%20Professional%20x64%20Edition&lang=eng

but they are .exe and I have no way to load them.

I can install XP 64 using IDE with no issue, but when I try to use my DVD-ROM it says that it is not a supported device and If I switch back to AHCI after XP is installed it will just BSOD when loading.

    Now I did find this:

    downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2101&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional+x64+Edition&lang=eng&strOSs=109&submit=Go

and Number 4 on the list is a 64 bit Floppy Driver for Pressing F6 so I slip streamed those on on my CD and and when I ran the CD to install Windows it said that it could not find any Hard Drive Installed on my PC.

I looked at the Vista Install since it was on another Hard Drive and this is what it had under Controllers:

Intel 82801 HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller
Intel ICH8M Ultra ATA Storage Controller

So I guess mt question is Where Can I find Drivers that I can Slipstream on to XP64 to Install in AHCI mode.

P.S. Sorry the Links are not Clickable...

    1. Download the driver
    2. Copy the iata82_enu.exe(or whatever is the filename of the driver) to your C:\
    3. Go to: Start->Run-> type cmd then press 'Enter'
    4. Type :
    4.1) cd\ [press 'Enter']
    4.2) iata82_enu.exe -a -p C:\Intel [press 'Enter']

Done. The .exe is extracted in C:\Intel

Hmm the driver from the floppy version should be exactly the same so maybe you're doing something wrong when slipstreaming..

I Guess the Floppy version is not the same, This Slip worked with no issues, It's Formatting the HD as I type I used iata86enu.exe by the way.
