    Acer 7720G FPS Drops

    hey. Ive got problems with fps drops to 10 fps in games like team fortress2 or counter strike source. it is not the grafics card....
    i think its something with the CPU. it is like stottering. i can play for 10 minutes and then it starts to drop FPS.i bought my laptop 2 months ago .i need help!!

    Welcome to the forum, denret.
    Sounds like it is the CPU is overheat and it throttle(slowdown) to reduce heat.
    Sometime it can be "fake overheat" which the CPU thinks itself being overheat and start throttle immediately. The culprit can be BIOS and the thermal sensors/zone.

    Physical solution:
    Clean your laptop. DUST = KILLER
    Vacuum it.
    You can try cooler though.

    If physical solution failed, then come back again. I'll show another solution.

    ok. tryed both ways. doesnt work's -.-... its still stuttering the fps down and up
