Ok guys first of all Im new to these forums so hey everyone my names James :)
My problem is in the title, Call of Duty 4 Modern warfare, for the past two days I have been on the phone to Activision (the makers of Call of Duty) and the Acer support line, trying to resolve this problem, and as you can guess nothing I have tried so far seems to work.
I have tried all the basic stuff, updated my display & sound drivers, checked my firewall, opened certain ports the game needs open to work, all sorts, and so far nothing seems to improve the graphics of this game. Im also experiencing some Ping/Latency problems, around 85Ping when im in a low ping server. The reason im convinced it’s mainly graphics that’s effecting my game play is because I also play World of Warcraft (for anyone that doesn’t know it, it’s a massive online game with just over 11million people that requires a good inet connection) and WoW seems to run fine.
Im really confused as to why im getting choppy and poor graphics when the Aspire 7720G has such good specs.
If anyone could give me some advice on what I could try now please it would be much appriciated, and like I said before I have tried all the basics.
I also noticed that when im in the F2 menu on startup, it says next to video 256MB, the notebook is capable of alot more is there any way I can up the MB the graphics card uses?
    Heres my DXDIAG
