    Acer 7720g CPU upgrade 2011

    Hi guys, just a quick question can you upgrade an acer 7720g that has a
    T7300 cpu to a T9900 cpu.

    If this cant be done, how come it cant etc..

    T9900 won't work - the PM965 chipset doesn't support 1066MHz FSB CPUs (due to hardware lockdown). T9500 is the highest that will work, or maybe X9000.
