    Acer 7738 vs 8935

    Hi,

    I am thinking of getting either an Acer 7738 or 8935 and would like to hear people's thoughts

    On the plus side for the 7738 - Much Cheaper, Will actually fit into my already huge laptop backpack, lighter and slightly more portable

    On the plus for the 8935 - 1080p resolution instead of funky 1600x900, better graphics

    Well only have experience with the 8935G here its a beast for sure and had to go get a carryon lcase to hold it hehehe. Very nice laptop get teased about the size of it but then they see what it does and shuts everyone up.
    Only problem I have had with it is installing Windows 7 RC does not install the ATI properly does not get past this laptop has 2 adapters and only likes using the green mode Intel.
    I play DDO on high direct x 10 settings at 1080p and lets just say it looks great HDMI on the big screen.
