    Hello,

I was thinking about a new Hard drive for my Acer 7740G
Anyone knows if this model has an mSATA slot
I could not find information about it :(

Additional anyone did upgrade the hard drive to a new 7200RPM OR SSD
What is the best choice - can anyone advise :)
    Thanks in advance!

    It doesn't have mSATA.

SSD is obviously a far better choice but also far more expensive.

Also consider the fact that 7740 has SATA II not SATA III so that will limit you with some SSDs (it will still be a lot faster than any 720rpm HDD though)

Thank you for feedback. I was thinking about Dysk SSD 2.5" OCZ 120GB Model: OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G

Highly recommend crucial m4. Using one in my 8930g its sata 3 but compatible with 2 slots like all sata 3 ssd's means it also benefits from new chipset and better speeds than sata 2 drives.
