I did the usual uninstalled the existing driver, booted to safemode and ran driver sweeper removed all the ATI crap, then rebooted ran the CCC install for 10.11 drivers and it says it wont install some error. Tried 4 times now. Is there a new trick to update the graphics drivers I am not aware of???

Laptop is a Acer Aspire 7741G-3647. Core I5 2.4, 4 gig of ram.

Not that it shows in Device Manager. All it shows is the 5650 no intel graphics shown there.

You can try to install the default driver that your notebook was shipped with and then update to the most recent one from ATI- it seems to help in most cases.
If it doesn't you may also install manually via device manager/ update driver and browse to C:\ATI\Support\10-12_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF

There's no reason to use driver sweeper- Terry Makedon who is in charge of Catalyst answered this question several times- just install on top of the old ones.
