    hi at all, maybe someone can help me to know which is the best ram kit for my acer 7741, id like to have the best performance so a 2*4gb will be good, but which are the best supported sodimm in this notebook ? ?
    stock ram are pc3-8500 can i buy ddr 1333 or faster ?

    any suggestion will be appreciated. thanks

    It's an Arrandale CPU so RAM will not work any faster than 1066MHz.
    You can use 1333MHz modules which will downclock to 1066MHz anyway.

    thanks, yes is an i3 380 Arrandale, but can u suggest me a kit whit low latency good for this notebook ?

    now i have this situation, u think is possibile to improve buying a 2*2gb kit or a 2*4gb kit ? [​IMG]

    You'll have to buy 2x4GB to see any improvement.
    Any major brand will be fine CL7 is the most typical latency for 1066MHz these days- it should be OK.

    So as long as it is 2x4GB 1066MHz CL7 from a known manufacturer you might make the decision on price only.

    and i can buy a ddr2 cl5 or something of best than cl7 ?? cl7 is the only cas latency available for my notebook ? so is the best ?

    Latency does not have such a big impact on overall performance but CL5 will obviously faster than CL7. You have to factor in the price though.
