Hi, i purchased ssd crucial 60gb M4 model to replace stock 500gb of my Acer 7741g. I tried to do some research on the internet, but not much information was found concerning what BIOS shall I have. Some people mentioned that latest firmware update gives problems and BSOD with ssd drivers.

If anyone has experience putting ssd into 7741g, please advise what BIOS, firmware I would need.

You don't need to update BIOS to install ssd. New firmware update will be released around 16th of this month by Crucial.
