I know it's to early to ask, but...

Does anyone know of a docking station for an Acer 8204?

Does anyone know of a MediaBay battery for an Acer 8204?

I don't "think" the 8100 series accessories are the same, but I frankly don't know... I'm guessing not since the CD changed sides .

I've been unable to find anything specific to the 8200 series on a retailer website, and Acer's site it devoid of accessories all together.

I know I'm probably jumping the gun, but I'm am impatient person when it comes to my new toys and I suspect you'll all understand that ;)

Should use the same Dock as the 8100 and there will be a mediabay battery.

It's called an Ezdock and except for the fact that it's kind of big and doesn't exactly lock on like the ones for Thinkpads and Dells, it's very functional.

Awesome, I don't know how you found this but thank you!

Noting a couple of things that were particularly of note to me:

    1) There is no port replicator, just the EZ dock thingy. Probably not that bid of a deal, but a dock you actually just snap the lappy into is nice verses the kind you need to find, locate and connect a docking cable to.

    2) 6-cell MediaBay Battery IS different from the 8100, which I expected since the drive swapped sides from the 8100

    3) It's also interesting that it has it's OWN 90W AC adaptor, not the same as the 4400/4200.

    Thanks again :D
