Got this phone as part of the packaged content. Has anyone used it with the 8204? Please provide comment.

Yes I used it and it sucked horribly. I called my friend via yahoo messenger and the phone is really quiet, and it echos on the other persons line. The built in mic and speakers work better.

Coincidentally I just tried mine with Skype half an hour ago. Since they started offering internet to phone calls for free for the rest of the year.

Ya, it sucked pretty badly. I just made a local call here. Echo and delay made it pretty much unusable. According to the person I called, I was cutting out a lot. There was almost a full second delay on a call across town. Not sure if the delay was due to bluetooth processing or network/phone delay. Quiet was definitely not a problem for me. Mine was really loud, had to turn it down to minimum. Didn't try skype with laptop mic and speaker though.

    Too bad

You've used it in speaker phone mode propably, because it's really quiet in normal mode. There is a problem with BT delay for sure, but you could have a problem with delay in Skype itself also - anyway, sound quality is unacceptable and the "phone" is completely useless...

I can have a perfectly clear conversation via yahoo to a phone or another computer using the built in mic and speakers. The phone just sucks.
