I own an Acer 8204. Whenever I try to start the computer with USB devices plugged into the external ports it refuses to boot. The Windows XP loading screen will come up but once it disappears the screen remains black. I then have to restart the computer with the devices unplugged in order for the computer to boot into Windows. The devices can then be plugged in again once Windows has booted up. I currently have a Logitech USB mouse and an HP printer connected via USB. They both cause the problem to occur. Any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.
