This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Acer 8215 WLMi HDCP Support for Blu Ray

    Does anyone know if the 8215 supports HDCP on its DVI-D port? It's not explicitly listed in the specs for this model. It would seem a bit pointless to include a Blu Ray drive if you couldn't output it to an external monitor on DVI - but just want to check first!
