    Hi all

    Bought an 8920g last month

Was expecting it to handle games like unreal tournamet 3 and tiger woods golf 2008 comfortably.

However it struggles very badly with choppy graphics and low fps

Looked at resource monitor and it seems that the Vista sound managemnt service audiodg.exe is totally hammering cpu usage when playing games which presumably is causing the performance issues

Looked at updating the Realtek Driver but the Acer site still has the original one for download

Anyone else had this problem ?

    Many thanks

    Mark

    Thanks

Is that ok to use - i wasn't sure if Acer did extra tweaking or config of the drivers

Can always do a rollback i guess

Yeah you can always rollback to the old driver.

I use the drivers from Realtek's site not from ACER. No problems. You cannot expect ACER to maintain all the drivers up to date..

I thought that using non-Acer drivers removed the functionality of your Tuba booster.
