    Hi

    First post :)

I am interesting in buying an Acer 8930 laptop.

I need to connect two external monitors to the laptop and have separate outputs on each.

Is this possible with the acer 8930?

It seems to come with a VGA port, and a HDMI port.

Could I have one monitor connected to the VGA, and the other to the HDMI (assuming I use a HDMI to DVI connector).

Does the nvidia card eg 9600gt or 9700gt support this? This would be great for certain games eg flight sims etc

Has anyone managed to get two monitors working on this laptop?

    thanks
    Al
