Is there any way to have multitouch gestures like two finger scroll etc in our 8930 synaptics trakpad ??

I think it's sad for such a complete and ahigh end laptop not having something that a small netbook have (asus eeepc 1000) ..

I think that ACER MUST do something ..

I know , but now that synaptics provide this ability shouldn't we have it ...

Multitouch is way more convinience than what we have now ..

Oh wow, didn't know Synaptics had said feature. Anyone know where I can download a Synaptics driver for my 6920G that works with Vista Ultimate SP1 x86?

Check this thread for modded Synaptic drivers, they should enable the virtual scrolling. You can get the drivers from the links from the first post, below the screenshots. Hope it works for you.

Caution: Uninstall the old Synaptic drivers first!

You tried which Synaptic drivers? From the ACER site or the modded one I gave you link to? Or both?

I tried both ..there was no two finger scrolling ..
The moded driver game me the extra option for Chiral motion scrolling but i couldn't manage doing it.

Maybe is some bios lock at the synaptics trackpad ? I 've got v6.3 ..
