    Acer 8930G Black screen...

    Hey.

    I can't get my acer to boot. Everything starts up but the screen remains black.
    I tried the fn+esc with a usb stick with new BIOS. It starts reading the usb stick but after few sec it turns off the pc.
    I don't know if that can be because the BIOS file name is wrong or something..
    I have search the web and tried different names for the BIOS with no luck.... getting frustrated. :confused:

    Can you try to connect your laptop to external monitor?

    No luck. I'm pretty sure it doesn't start...
    I get few | blinking in the left upper corner that its just black/grey.
