Hi
There was a thread a couple of weeks ago with updated drivers for windows 7 hd audio, I updated them but it went to 2 channel audio only. I could not go back to my old drivers either and had to delete them and install old ones.
I am now having an issue with the speakers, the speakers sound really echo'y in 5.1 mode (they are 5.1 speakers built in) and just do not sound right at all. This is all since I did this driver thing.
I am also getting some process called audiodg.exe using 60% of my processor a lot of the time 100% and again this is since me messing with the "new drivers".
How do I go back to the drivers on my factory disk? I have them but when installing them I get some weird error at the end of installation.
I have tried all sorts of drivers but when it goes through the installation processes it just comes with an error and closes. I am using win7 ultimate 64 bit. Really tempted to just go back to windows vista factory reset.
Anyone have any ideas? It is really annoying me as I watch a lot of tv and film on laptop...
Cheers

Hi
I have gone into the settings and it was somehow set to some weird room setting, not sure how or why this happened.
I still cannot install the old driver though, I do not trust this one as it is making this audiodg make my system slow.
Anyone else who has an 8930G how have you got it all setup in terms of settings? There are lots of settings such as distance of speakers etc. Acer eaudio doesnt work on windows 7 so not sure what to do in terms of settings. I used to watch blu ray or tv in 5.1 and it was really good, now its just crap really.
Acer 8930G sound issue (since installing drivers someone told me about on here!)
