    Hi guys

Have got a prob with my 8930G i noticed on the tray (battery not detected)

I thought the battery was on the way out, so ordered a new replacement ( not genuine) but that wouldnt charge either.
The machine runs when plugged into the mains, so cant be the power supply, i have tried both batteries in my 5315, both charge perfectly and both discharge fine on my 9830, but for some reason its not being detected
Also .. when the power adaptor is plugged in and the laptop is powered down, i still dont get a charge light
Have reinstalled all the drivers, pressed the power button down for x ammount of time , taken the battery out and rebooted a few times then replaced, deleted the acpi driver installed the battery and got windows to redetect
Searched all over the place for different ideas, none have worked
    Any ideas? poss new motherboard?

    Thanks in advance

    Johnny

Basically you will have to test replacement batteries or get an Original like i did (lucky mine was marked as used and was new)
