Hi - I did a search for speaker problem/issue and came up blank.

I just got a used 8942G and was wondering if this is normal.

The left speaker sounds like it's in the center of the laptop. I did tests using Realteks built in test and a couple online sites. The sounds play but it's not far left like I'm used to.

Is this normal? Is the left speaker placed in the center of this laptop due to it's size and other components?

update 1:- I am NOT talking about the Acer Cinebass Tuba ports. Just to clarify further, if I make the balance left only, it sounds like it is in the center.

update 2:- I have searched the 8940G and 8942G threads and have not found anything similar to this exact question/issue - thanks.

Thanks in advance for an answer!
