    How do you identify the 8943g models that comes with a remote? I have a 8943G - 6190; no remote came with this model. Can the Windows Media Center remote control work with this model?

    All models usually come with the IR sensor.

    From what I've noticed, the generic media center remote will work fine. I had to put black tape over mine since it was picking up the signal from my Harmony 880 to my HTPC.
