Hi all, i am new to the forum and have a query regarding the 9300, a problem i've been having is burning cdr's, either data or music, whenever i click on the drive icon in my computer it says 'windows cannot read the disc in drive F, make sure that the disc uses a format windows recognises, the disc may need to be formatted' This happens with all types of CDR, RW, Audio, Data etc. DVD's are ok, it will play a DVD and play a Music CD, and read a CDR that has data on it fine, just this problem when i go to burn anything to it, either from trying to send it to the dvd drive, or through media player. I've tried uninstalling/removing the drive, and i've tried updating the drivers for it but no luck. Anyone else suffer the same problem and have any help? Thanks in advance!
    Steven
By the way the OS is vista...surprisingly!
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using an actual cd-recording program? Both my Acer's came with NTI, did you try to use that program?
