I'm using a 3.5mm to single mono rca adapter, then connecting it the my Spherex Xbox 5.1 surround sound using yellow colored coax cables. I can't get any sound whatsoever. I have all the right software,(realtek hdaudio drivers) but I don't think its recognizing it as digital whatsover. Is anyone having the same problems with the spdif out? Or is my setup incorrect?

Is your Realtek HDAudio software active in the notification area? Sometimes sound doesn't come out if Realtek software isn't active...
