I need an LCD replacement for a laptop I got off ebay cheap! Broken hinge and screen. Hinge was a breeze to fix and there are replacement screens listed for around $120.

However, I dont want generic. I want to try to upgrade it to an LED screen but the only screens seems to be WUXGA.

Is it possible to get a nicer screen than the one it came with? Finding vendors with LCD specs is incredibly hard.

If I purchase a 1920x1200 LCD that has the 30 pin connector what are the odds it will work?

    Thank you.
