I bought this netbook purely for fun purposes, so after hearing the sound (or lack there of) on this thing, I decided to try a speaker mod.
(Remember in advance that I've never used a Dremel before (actually bought a brand new one) and I've probably soldered something once in my life)
After measuring I found out that probably a 40x20x8 mm speakers would fit instead of the (rather sad) stock 25x15x4 mm speakers.

So I ordered 2 pairs of speakers, one 35x20x8 mm and the other 40x20x8 mm, both with 8 Ohm impedance.
After some testing I found that the 40x20x8mm speakers were the better ones, so those had to go in.

Some more pics of the innards and the end result for your viewing pleasure. I also put in a Samsung 840 120GB SSD and 8GB RAM.

The sound is alot louder, but the Bass is still lacking, it's logical as there is no room to produce any bass.
