    Hello -

Just setup my new AO522 and love it, but it came with a silly bilingual (English/French) keyboard. There is clearly an English only keyboard available but I cannot find on on e-bay yet... I THINK that the AO255 and possibly the D260 are the same chassis and as a result may use the same keyboard...

Can anyone confirm the part numbers or even just give your thoughts on keyboard replacement?

And - I also want an additional charger... Is it possible to use any Aspire One charger or are they all different? Obviously I can use any 40 watt charger that will fit (19.5v and 2.15a.) I was wondering of some of the 60+ watt chargers will work... i.e. can I use a higher amperage charger so long as the voltage is the same?

Any Acer standard charger should work. My chargers from my old eMachines, my son's Acer, and both 4820TGs work fine with my friend's A0522. Her wall wart charger went out at a couple weeks old and rather than fart around with warranty returns for a cheap part we picked up a $30 unit at Microcenter and it worked fine.

    Hi!

    Thanks for the reply!

I'm still wary of using the 65w changer until I hear of others trying it out (or from someone who knows more about the underlying electronics...)

As for keyboards, I looked at Stapes today and saw that the D255, D260 and AO522 all have exactly the same layout so figure that they can share a keyboards... I bought a D255 keyboard on e-bay, so we shall see if it works =)

As long as it's 19 volts and at least 40W it'll be fine.
