I have just ordered an Acer AS 1801WSMi/P4 515/17" WXGA-CrystalBrite/ATI X600-128MB/512/80/DVD-SM/XP-H.
Do anyone know of any test of the Aspire 1800 on the WEB.
The Main difference to the old model is 128Mb on the screen card and the CrystalBrite screen.
Have anyone seen this laptop in live, and how good are the CrystalBrire screen?

Well I have a 1694WLMi with crystal brite tech and it's a bit like the sony x-black, a coating on the screen.

Crystal Brite? is this again a new feature, after the 128mb x600 and 80Gb HD upgrade?
-
Yes, have have not seen the Aspire 1800 with Crystal Brite before.
Acer have had som other models with Crystal Brite in other continets earlier.
There are some problems with the delivery so I get my new Acer after easter an will respons then. -
I bought this laptop today, 1801WSMi(without the B but WITH Bluetooth[^])
The screen is nice, but not 'wow' in comparing with other screens[]

What can I say more about it...
Crystalbrite is a special layer on the screen, when the screen is off, its like a mirror. very reflective.[8D]
The laptop is great, didn't found any bugs so far, only the 'ghostmouse' which moves the pointer by itself but that's just an sp2 issue and solved with a driver update.
