    Acer AS 5942g+IR remote help

    Hi

    I have Acer Aspire 5942g (win7 64) and Acer IR remote ( RC804V-B ) that i can't get to work with my laptop.

    I have all drivers needed installed and they are up to date.
    I tried reinstalling driver for IR Reciver few times - no luck

    This remote controler is used for Micro$oft media center and as far as compatibility goes with my laptop this is writen:
    "Acer RT.22700.008" is compatible with:
    Aspire 5739, 5739G, 5930, 5930G, 5940G, 5942G, 5943G, 6920G, 6935, 6935G, 7738, 8920G, 8930G, 8935G, 8940G, 8942G"

    Remote work's i tried it with my friend's AS 6935 yesterday.
    My best gues is: some service that is needed but it's not active/running

    Did any of you had used it or have any advice for me how to get it working?
    I just cant see any reason why it does not work
