    Hey everyone

I have a 2 year old Acer Aspire 5672 and I'm kinda getting tired of my screen. It's 15.4" yet it's only 1280x800 resolution which is kinda small for me. Also since I've seen a lot of newer laptops with higher rez screens this got me thinking. I remember when I got my Acer, I was also looking at the TM8200 which is pretty much the same lappy but nicer screen and a few others. I know that the screen on the 8200 is still 15.4" but it runs at 1600x1050. This would be a nice rez for the size.

Here is my question, has anyone tried to do this upgrade/swap? Does anyone know where I can get a TM8200 screen?
    Does Acer sell it?

    Cheers,
    neopran

Damn those are kinda expensive .... I wasn't planning on spending that much.
Do you know if Acer sells the screens like they do with replacement keyboards?
