    You CAN put it on...but it's illegal.

    I know that it is illegal, but I was just wondering if anyone had done it on this notebook and how well it worked.

    Bumping this, because I want to know too! Although I suspect if you don't know already,...you better start trawling the 'net.

    i'm bringing up an old thread about OSx86 because it did not work with my Acer Travelmate 4674WLMi. During the partitioning I totally forgot about the hidden partition and ****ed up my drive :`( Recovery discs don't do ****.. lol. So, I'm moving onto Linux for now.

    -- Tested --
    Mac OS X 10.4.8 AMD INTEL SSE2 SSE3 PPF1 + PPF2

    -- Packages Installed --
    * Intel package only.

    - Tried also
    * Intel package
    * ATi x1x00 support driver
    * Languages
    * Printer

    -- Result --
    Hangs on GSOD (grey screen of death).

    I'm going to try out using VMWare if Acer sends me some recovery discs that will restore the Windows partition at least. If not then... I'll just find my own way of getting XP back.

    it will work because i tried it myself. but some pheriperals will not work. it took me a long time to fix some driver issues. but one thing i hate is that you cannot just update osx by downloading from apple because it always messed up my booting process. i finally gave up and bought a mac book pro!
