Hi, i can no longer boot the arcade function on my 2023 Aspire without having to have XP on. Any got any ideas or instructions on how to re-configure it so it can recognize the Arcade bit?

    Much obliged,
    dylan

Have you done anything to your hard disk? Re-format, re-partition, change file systems?

Well, not me personally. But i had to send the laptop back to acer as the graphics card went ape-****. my guess would be is that they did something do the partition. anyway to restore it? it's not essential, but it would nice to have and from what i gather it saves on battery power. that would good for my xmas vacation. airplanes and what not.

    thanks!

Just go into BIOS and change to boot from CD, then boot with the restore CD.
