G'day folks, I am running an Aspire 5920G, and figured out (after pressing the mysterious button above the touch-sensitive ones on the right) that the button with the weird jumping-man symbol was the quick boot function that bypassed vista and just loaded acer arcade.
However now that I am running Vista and Ubuntu on the laptop, it automatically starts up into GRUB, where I can see Windows XP Embedded, but get an error message about hal.dll if I select it.
The partition is still there and intact, any way of using it as originally intended?
