i am a student who is looking for a very basic notebook to do online research, write papers with office, and maybe watch a dvd every now and then. after looking around the Acer Aspire 1363 seems to have the best specs for the price, but im not sure if that is because it will stop working after 2 months or what. what is acer's reputation as a manufacturer, and does anybody have any advice about whether or not i should buy one or their products?

How is the over all build quality of 1360series
Does the screen shake while typing (which is common in 4k/4500 series) -
I just bought the Acer Aspire 1363 Wlmi attracted to its widescreen display 60GB hardrive, Amd Sempron 3000+ processor and a generous 512Mb of memmory.
I must say since i got it i havent been able to put it down! I fully recomend this laptop, and your question about Acer as a manufacturer, i can tell you there the 3rd most well know notebook manufacturors in the world, so they must be doing something right! I purchased the laptop from www.acernotebooks.co.uk with next day delivery through citilink, i dont know whether your in the UK or not, but with it being easter i didnt expect them to deliver it on time but they did. Very happy with it indeed.
Anyway hope that has helped you a bit, I have a few links that are excelent but there on my PC at the moment i will post again with them later on.
