    Hi Everyone,

It seems like I've reached a a dead end. I updated my Aspire 1410 (11.6) to windows 7 hoping I would get better performance. Was I wrong. The CPU usage is off the charts when I just use youtube. Its always clocking at over 40%. This is certainly not normal.

I took some suggestion from other users (not install the RealTek sound driver), but that only improved it slightly.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I'm close to downgradint to XP again and selling the damn thing.

    Here are my specs:

    Intel Core 2 Solo Processor
    2GB RAM
    250 GB HDD

    Cheers,

    Z

What process is using the CPU?
Are the video drivers up to date?
Does your integrated video chip support flash hardware acceleration?
