Is it possible to fit PC3200 (DDR400) ram into this laptop? the processer supports it (Athlon 64) but does the motherboard?

    Many thanks ~ Gary

to make sure what memory you can use with your laptop go to www.crucial.com, you can check to see what memory is compatible with laptop or there is www.dabs.com/uk you can use memory selector which will do the same thing.

Crucial only indicates that PC2700 is useable however if i use PC3200 would it simply lower to 2700 to support the laptop? i figure i may as well get the higher rated RAM for future-proofing if its going to accept it.
